News Report after winning election in 2022

Common sense leadership.

I am proud to announce that I am seeking a second term on the Kern County Board of Education. Serving our students, families, educators, and community has been an honor, and I remain committed to supporting quality education, responsible leadership, and opportunities that help every student succeed.

During my first term, I worked to protect parents’ Constitutional rights, kept politics out of the schools, ensured quality of curriculum and instruction, brought research from best practices, and partnered with the community to help students’ reach mastery in core subject matter. While we've made meaningful progress, there is still important work to do. I am grateful for your continued support and the opportunity to keep serving Kern County with integrity, dedication, and a steadfast commitment to public education.

A group of children gathered around a woman holding a horse in a dry grassy field, with some trees and a fence in the background.

I have a passion for making a difference in children lives.

Two people, a woman and a man, standing outdoors with clear blue skies. The woman is holding a megaphone and wearing a patriotic hat with stars, glasses, and a shirt with a flag design. The man is wearing sunglasses and holding a sign that reads 'CISNEROS for school board trustee' with a web address. Behind them, there are American flags, a Walgreens store, parked cars, and some trees and bushes.

I believe in choices NOT mandates!

The woman on the left is wearing a patriotic hat and shirt, the woman in the middle is in a white T-shirt, and the man on the right is in a red shirt with a camera around his neck and a backpack.

It’s time to give power back to the parents!

Freedom is a right NOT a privilege!
